SMALL SCALE INDUSTRY
We are a Private Limited Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956. We are a Project Executing Company and working since 1981.
Our registered office is located at 8, Ganesh Chandra Avenue, Kolkata 700013.
We have two factories at:
- 1) 81, A. K. Mukherjee Road, Baranagar, Kolkata - 700090 and
- 2) 151/9, Dharmatala Road, Salkia (Howrah).
We also have a Training Center at 265, Ray Bahadur Road, Kolkata 700053 for training of our personnel.
Our unit is registered as a Small Scale Industry in West Bengal. Our SSI Registration number is PMT / 10509 dated 27.01.1983.
Services
We have been offering our services to our clients in the following fields:

- 2. Third party Inspection.
- 3. Project Selection.
Exports
We are also engaged in exports. Our present exports consist of :
- 1) Engineering goods, i.e., Transmission / Antenna Towers, etc.,
- 2) Commodities like, Tea, Rice, Coffee and Jute Bags,etc.
- 3) We have exported our products to Russia, CIS Countries, Middle East andBangladesh. Our products have been accepted worldwide

TEAM
This is a firm of Engineers. Our Directors are qualified Mechanical Engineers with long experience in Industries and Consultancy. Site Managers, experienced in Power Plants, Railways, Steel and Paper Plants head our teams at various sites. We also have qualified Mechanical, Electrical, and Electron ic Engineers heading our factories and Design cells. We have 20 full-time and more than 20part-time Engineers specializing in design, fabrication, and erection in various fields like Steel, Power, Coal,Paper, Cement, Fertilizer, Tea and so on.

International Business Division
What is Business ?
When we split the word "Business" into it's component letters, we find that U & I are in it. Therefore, if business is to remain business, U & I must be in it. Further, we discover that U comes before I in "Business" & I is silent; it is to be seen - not heard. Also, the U has the sound of I which indicates that there is an amalgamation of the interests of U & I and when they are properly amalgamated BUSINESS becomes harmonious and altogether profitable.
The following are the categories of items in which we deal :
1.Engineering Items: We have over 40 qualified Engineers working for us. They work on different jobs of Mechanical, Civil & Electrical nature throughout India and neighboring countries. Galvanized Towers, Furnaces, Ash Handling Systems, Chimneys, Pressure Vessels, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Pipes, Pipe Fittings, Valves (Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, etc.) are items in which we specialize.
2.Tea: To provide better value and services to our customers, both - at home and abroad, "COSMOS" established a separate Tea & Trading Division in 1993. We export three types of tea - Orthodox, CTC & Darjeeling Tea.
3.Minerals: We are presently exporting minerals like China Clay, Soap Stone Powder, Lime Stone, Raw Bauxite, Iron Ore, Iron Red Oxide, etc.
4.Garments: We export Shirts, Trousers, Blazers, Suits, Baby Suits and the like from India. We also have our associates in Bangladesh exporting all types of garments to Europe, USA & CIS countries.
5.Refractories, Mortars and Chemicals: We offer Refractories for Cement, Steel, Petroleum & Fertilizer Industries. Refractories also include Ramming masses, Refractory Cement, Magnesia Carbon, bricks of different specification like High Alumina, High Chrome, High Magnesia, etc.
Export Division
Adhering to our goal of globalizing our products we, at COSMOS, have established a separate Trading Division which looks after International Business. The products exported by us range from lip-smacking Tea to heart-filling Rice, from Quality Engineering Goods to Monolithic Refractories, from Sturdy Diesel Engines to equally Reliable Pumps, from Minerals to Valves and the like
Import Division
India is one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the world. In spite of the recent crisis in the Asian countries, India has withstood all the challenges and managed to come out successfully from the recessionary trend. India is presently on the fast track and is planning to undertake major projects in the following vital sectors in order to welcome the coming millennium :
